Menopause Relief Massage
01
What is it?
After working closely with clients navigating menopause, I have carefully designed this treatment to incorporate the most effective and comforting techniques. This massage is tailored to ease common menopause symptoms such as hot flashes, joint pain, sleep disturbances, bloating, and stress.
03
Aromatherapy & Oils
This massage incorporates Neal’s Yard Women’s Balance oil—a nurturing blend of clary sage, geranium, and rose—to support hormonal balance and emotional well-being. Cooling peppermint oil helps soothe hot flashes and digestive discomfort, while calming lavender and frankincense promote deep relaxation.
02
Why is the minimum only 90 mins?
This treatment is offered as a dedicated 90-minute session to ensure a deeply relaxing and effective experience. Unlike shorter treatments, this extended time allows for a full-body approach, incorporating hand, foot, head, abdominal, and joint massage without feeling rushed.

Tailored Massage
No two people experience menopause the same way, which is why every session is completely customized. Before your treatment, we’ll have a consultation to understand your specific symptoms and needs. Whether you need more focus on joint relief, stress reduction, digestion support, or deep relaxation, your session will be uniquely designed to work best for you. This is not a one-size-fits-all massage—it’s a treatment made just for you!

What to expect
Your 90-minute Menopause Relief Massage is designed to be deeply restorative and tailored to your needs. Here’s what you can expect:
-
Consultation – A brief consultation form and check-in to discuss your symptoms and personalize the treatment.
-
Targeted Massage – Unlike traditional massages, you will start face-up to encourage immediate relaxation. The session begins with hand, foot, and head massage—areas with high nerve concentration—for a calming effect. We then incorporate abdominal massage to support digestion and hormone regulation before addressing joints and other areas of tension.
-
Aromatherapy – A blend of Neal’s Yard Women’s Balance oil and peppermint oil is applied to enhance relaxation, balance hormones, and provide a cooling effect.
-
Lymphatic Drainage – Gentle, rhythmic techniques help support detoxification, circulation, and reduce swelling.
This structured flow ensures a deeply soothing, balanced, and effective experience designed specifically for menopause relief.
Benefits
-
Hormonal Balance – This massage stimulates circulation and lymphatic flow, helping the body naturally regulate hormone production and distribution. Abdominal massage also supports the adrenal glands and digestive system, which play key roles in hormone balance.
-
Stress Reduction – By focusing on the hands, feet, and head—areas rich in nerve endings—this treatment activates the parasympathetic nervous system, signaling the body to shift from "fight or flight" to rest and relaxation mode. Gentle joint work also helps release built-up tension and stiffness, further easing stress.
-
Improved Sleep – Relaxing pressure techniques on the head, neck, and nervous system pathways help regulate cortisol (stress hormone) levels, reducing restlessness and promoting deeper, more restorative sleep.
-
Pain Relief – Targeted work on joints, muscles, and connective tissues helps relieve stiffness, improve mobility, and ease discomfort, particularly in common problem areas like the knees, shoulders, and hands.
-
Enhanced Digestion – Abdominal massage gently works with the digestive tract, stimulating peristalsis (the natural wave-like muscle contractions of the intestines) to reduce bloating, support gut health, and encourage detoxification.
Treatment is not suitable for:
-
Severe Skin Sensitivities or Allergies – Essential oils are used in this treatment, and while they can be adjusted to suit your needs, those with extreme sensitivities should proceed with caution.
-
Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure – Some essential oils and massage techniques may temporarily affect circulation.
-
Recent Surgery or Acute Injuries – If you are in the early stages of healing, massage may not be suitable.
-
Severe Varicose Veins or Blood Clot Risk – Deep massage techniques may not be recommended for those with a high risk of clotting disorders.
-
Cancer or Autoimmune Conditions – If you are undergoing treatment that compromises your immune system, consult your doctor before booking.
Possible side affects:
-
Mild Soreness – Some areas may feel tender for 24-48 hours as tension releases.
-
Fatigue – Your body may enter a deeper state of relaxation, leading to temporary tiredness post-massage.
-
Increased Circulation & Detox Symptoms – You may feel warmer, thirstier, or need to urinate more frequently due to improved circulation and lymphatic drainage.
-
Emotional Release – Since menopause affects hormones and emotions, some clients experience a shift in mood or emotions after their session.
